The widespread use of unmanned aerial vehicles imposes increasingly stringent requirements for the functionality and weight and size characteristics of on-Board systems. We has an idea to create a flexible (conformal) antenna array based on foil polyimide with independent phase formation for each emitter. Such a system will significantly reduce the weight of the antenna system, as well as the use of small drones radar. In the case of a conformal grille on the fairing of a conventional aircraft, there are obvious advantages. This is an increase in the area of the antenna, due to which it is possible to concentrate more energy in a given direction, thereby increasing the range, as well as in the case of separation of directions — to increase the area of operation of the radar.
